Our Office

Virtual, Mobile, and Cost Effective

You pay for service and reliability, not marble.

Traditionally, lawyers were shackled to their law offices. If a lawyer wanted to make or receive calls, he used the office land-line. If a lawyer wanted to read his mail, then he picked it up at the office. If he wanted to review a client file, then he retrieved it from the office storage area.

But technology has freed lawyers from the shackles of an office and the client from the cost of a large part of the overhead. Smart phones, laptops, and cloud based storage allow lawyers to receive calls, read mail, and access client information from anywhere at any time. As a practical matter, lawyers increasingly rely on technology to best serve their clients.

Though an ever increasing number of lawyers relies primarily on mobile technologies and electronic communication, most still maintain expensive offices where they rarely meet with clients. We don’t do that.

We realize we can reduce our overhead and our fees - without affecting the level of service we provide to our clients – by abandoning the physical office. We still retain conference rooms to meet face-to-face with clients and we maintain a physical mailing address, but we don’t maintain a physical office at those locations.

Simply put, our clients don’t have to pay us to maintain an expensive downtown office that we wouldn’t be working from very much anyway.

Security and Access

How our office works.

When you become a client, we give you our direct contact information. When you ask, we give you records. We contact you how you want, when you want, and we can do so because we are very good at being mobile.

Legal problems are inherently personal. Unlike other businesses we don't try turn you or your concerns into a commodity by sharing any of your information. We believe in secure communications wisely applied, and secure storage according to smart data retention policies.  We use electrons whenever possible, paper when needed, and security when suitable.

By taking a modern approach to the practice of law, we are more responsive and more accessible to clients.  We spend more time working on your case than the administering it.  By better management and logistics, we increase our efficiency, reduce our overhead, and make our services more affordable. Reasonable prices helps us (and our clients) sleep better at night.

We go to our clients instead of expecting them to come to us. We listen to our clients.  We know where you come from, what makes you money, and what you worry about. We are available to our clients, wherever we are.  We are what our clients need us to be.

We don't believe in locking ourselves in fancy marble offices. Rather, we like protecting our clients. We like listening to our clients. We like helping our clients. We find that being there for our clients is why we became attorneys in the first place.
